bumble launched a new feature called ‘compliments’.
it’s a new way to send something nice about specific parts of someones profile, encouraging people to move past ‘hey’. plus, it meant that now, men can contact women first.
the problem was, on dating apps, people don’t know how to compliment. it’s more ‘nice legs’ rather than ‘nice legs on that wine, you’ve got great taste’.
so we sprinkled compliments all over the place, starting with - of course - troy hawke.
